Kaomoji(かおもじ)

Kaomoji (かおもじ- 顔文字) are Japanese-style emoticons made using text characters. Unlike Western emoticons such as :-) or :(, kaomoji are usually read without tilting your head and often focus on the eyes to express emotion.

In Marugoto A1, Katsudoo Lesson 17 and A2/B1 Lesson 5, several people use different kaomoji in their blogs. Can you understand their meanings?

In Marugoto A2-1, Katsudoo Lesson 7, Tyler-san sent Abe-san a message saying, "I got the time wrong. I'll be about 30 minutes late. Sorry." Which kaomoji did he use in the message?
