Note that 4 can also be pronounced as "shi," 7 as "shichi," and 9 as "ku."

Intermediate numbers are made by combining the numbers corresponding to them.
ex. 34 sanjuu yon, 58 gojuu hachi, 99 kyuujuu kyuu
